BayCare Sound books two electronic music festivals this fall

The BayCare Sound in downtown Clearwater will host two electronic music festivals this fall, including the venue's first two-night event.

MorFlow Fest arrives Saturday, Sept. 12, with doors at 3:15 p.m. Headliner Mersiv, known for his bass-heavy "Pretty Dark Loud" sound, makes his headline debut at the waterfront venue alongside UK dubstep veteran Caspa, Wreckno b2b Super Future, Seth David b2b Zen Selekta, FloZone and RJ WLKR, according to the Ruth Eckerd Hall event listing.

The festival is a collaboration between Mersiv and flow arts brand FlowStar, which makes eight-sided cloth spinning stars. Beyond the music, organizers plan art installations, vendors, workshops and flow arts activations throughout the venue, I Love the Burg reported. Hoopers, poi spinners, levi wand artists and glovers are welcome to bring their gear.

Two months later, Florida-based producer Tape B brings Tapesgiving to The BayCare Sound on Friday, Nov. 27, and Saturday, Nov. 28. It will be the venue's first two-night event, according to Ruth Eckerd Hall, which operates the outdoor amphitheater at 301 Drew St.

Tape B, who got his start making music in his bedroom at the University of Central Florida, makes his debut at the venue and headlines both nights. Friday's lineup includes EAZYBAKED b2b Distinct Motive, Space Wizard and Claybrook. Saturday adds G Jones, Moody Good and Dr. Ushuu, according to the venue's Tapesgiving listing.
