Clearwater Beach's SHOR American Seafood Grill will offer a $10 seafood combo when the annual Taste of the Beaches food festival returns Oct. 3-11.

The nine-day event features more than 45 restaurants spanning from Tierra Verde to Clearwater Beach, according to Paradise News. The Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce, led by President and CEO Charlie Justice, organizes the festival each year. Every participating restaurant offers a signature dish or combo for $10, redeemable during regular business hours.

SHOR's $10 seafood combo

SHOR, inside the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort at 301 S. Gulfview Blvd., is serving a Dos Equis beer-battered conch fritter paired with a snapper aguachile blue corn tostada with pomegranate and avocado emulsion, according to a sponsored listing on I Love the Burg.

A portion of ticket proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity Tampa Bay Gulfside, the Clearwater-based nonprofit led by President and CEO Mike Sutton. The chamber has not disclosed the specific percentage or dollar amount directed to the organization.

Other $10 specials across the beaches include a crab cake sandwich with an Orange Crush at Coco's Crush Bar & Grill, birria nachos at Jake's Coastal Cantina and a Reuben burger with a pint of Green Bench IPA at Sloppy Joe's on the Beach. Newly opened Boca Ciega Waterfront Bar & Grill is also on the lineup with its award-winning Yucatan shrimp and a draft beer.

The festival kicks off with a free party Oct. 2 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Horan Park in St. Pete Beach. Big Brother Band plays live.

Tickets cost $10 per restaurant and can be purchased online at tampabaybeaches.com/taste. Physical pickup is available at the Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber office at 6990 Gulf Blvd. in St. Pete Beach, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and at three other locations in Indian Rocks Beach and St. Petersburg.

The chamber says the festival is timed to support beach restaurants and their staff during the slowest stretch of the year. Diners who want to start at SHOR can head to the Hyatt Regency on Clearwater Beach beginning Oct. 3.
