Nicole Felce, an assistant golf professional at Countryside Country Club in Clearwater, earned Low PGA of America and LPGA Professional honors at the 2026 KPMG Women's PGA Championship. The event wrapped up June 28 at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota.

It was only Felce's second appearance at the major. She's just the third PGA or LPGA Professional to make the weekend since the PGA of America partnered with the LPGA in 2015 for the championship, and the first to earn the Low PGA/LPGA Professional honor since 2019.

Felce shot rounds of 75-70-81-73 to finish at 11 over par (299). Her 2-under 70 on Saturday, the third round, got her to the weekend right on the cut line.

"It's really, really special to be here," Felce said after her final round. "Making the weekend was my goal this week, so to have done it and just to soak it all in and to have played along with the world's best was really special and really amazing and really humbling."

She was the only member of the eight-player Corebridge Financial Team of PGA and LPGA Professionals to survive the cut. Felce earned her spot in the field by finishing fourth at the 2025 LPGA Professionals Championship.

Her final round showed grit. Starting on hole 10, Felce bogeyed 11 and 12, birdied 13, then doubled 16. She recovered on holes 1 through 9 with birdies on the par-4 fourth and seventh, closing the day at 1 over.

Haeran Ryu won the championship at 13 under par, claiming $1,950,000 from the $13 million purse after a final round delayed nearly four hours by weather.

Felce, a North Florida PGA Section member, became an LPGA Class A Member in May 2025 and earned PGA of America Class A Membership in February 2026. She previously competed at LPGA Q-School in the summer of 2022 in Palm Springs, California, and earned partial status on the Epson Tour during the 2023 season.

She returned to work at Countryside Country Club on July 1, but her sights are set beyond the lesson tee. Felce plans to compete at LPGA Q-School in September with the goal of earning a spot on the LPGA Tour.

"I'm going to Q-School this fall, so ultimately the goal is to play on Tour," Felce said. "I am glad I got my certifications under my belt, so I always will have that, but definitely want to be on Tour."
