Clearwater-area residents can grab free coffee, score discounts at local restaurants and spas, and pick up a limited-edition T-shirt when 727 Day Weekend returns Saturday, July 25, through Monday, July 27.
Visit St. Pete-Clearwater, the county's official tourism marketing organization, says the annual celebration of Pinellas County's area code is expanding to a full three-day event for 2026. The organization describes it as a thank-you to residents who help host roughly 15 million visitors a year.
Brian Lowack, president and CEO of Visit St. Pete-Clearwater and a Largo native, said the event has grown into a community celebration "where we thank our local residents and partner with amazing local businesses to celebrate this community that millions of visitors love and we call home."
How to participate
Sign up for a free 727 Day Mobile Passport at 727Day.com. Visit St. Pete-Clearwater says the passport unlocks more than 100 deals on food, drinks, tours, museum admission, staycations, and spa treatments across Pinellas County. Each deal can be redeemed once per passholder.
Check in at two or more participating spots through the passport and you'll be eligible to claim a limited-edition 727 T-shirt or a commemorative print by mail. This year's shirt was designed by St. Petersburg illustrator Clancy Riehm, who has created work for the City of St. Petersburg, the Tampa Bay Lightning, and the Tampa Bay Rays.
